ACTFL ILR

The ACTFL Language Proficiency Tester Training Site is an information site created to facilitate the Oral Proficiency Interview (OPI) tester training process for all OPI trainees, testers and trainers. There are 2 categories of OPI testing and training:

    1) ACTFL OPI Training
    2) Interagency Language Roundtable (ILR) OPI Training

Each training protocol is explained in detail below.

ACTFL trains and certifies language professionals to conduct and rate OPIs according to ACTFL testing and rating protocols based on the ACTFL Proficiency Guidelines. ACTFL OPI tester and rater certification is available exclusively to members of ACTFL. For information about the ACTFL OPI program, please contact Andrew Amadei, Training and Certification Coordinator, by emailing aamadei@actfl.org.
